We came here on the recommendation of good friends. The restaurant is on a quiet side street. The outside area is recommended when the weather is nice. Wherever we were served promptly. The service was nice and friendly. Our order: (Veltins vom Hahn, Bifteki, mixed platter) In a price comparison good, the taste is average. At the end there was a fruit platter (free 👍) and a schnapps on the bill.

It is a quiet restaurant in a quiet residential area. There seem to be many local people. We enjoyed delicious Greek food.

A recommendoble place to eat, f.ex. before you go to Deutsche Oper in Berlin. Then we were fit for the opera. 5 minutes walk from the opera.

The food tastes great and it is plentiful. Careful, in the end there are still fruits. So you go out pretty saturated. The staff is very nice. It is very clean, the toilets are awesome! No wonder Taverna Elena has kept for more than 30 years 🧡

A very pleasant shop, you will be welcomed directly in a family atmosphere and warmly hosted. I was eating here with my girlfriend today, we were served very quickly and both drinks and appetizers came very fast. Salad of the main courses and then the main dishes themselves were well timed, here is probably on the right measure respected. The portions were sumptuous and delicious, all in all this was a very nice evening and earned its 4 stars.

The Taverna Elena has been one of our favorite places for 30 years. The food is consistently excellent and simply delicious. The price performance ratio is very good. Niko is always friendly and prepares the dishes himself with his team. Usually you don't have to wait long for the food to arrive. Even at celebrations, we have always been enthusiastic about the good organization. Simply recommendable!

I must have had some bad luck in the evening. I didn't really want to post, but after thinking about the innkeeper's reaction to my objection to the raw bifteki, I decided to do so. “It's only raw where it's a little thicker,” “that's pure beef, that's not bad” and “We've been around for thirty years” along with the fact that I let the almost full plate go back and still had to pay in full was too much. Oh yes, I'm used to being offered an ouzo by all other Greeks at the latest when ordering drinks. Somehow that is part of it and puts you in the mood for Greek hospitality. Unfortunately there is no report here and I ordered one for the main course. It is really a nice shop, but those who rest on their laurels have stopped being good! And anyone who has been doing Bifteki for thirty years should also know how to do it. I've been to many Greeks in many cities, but that's the last place for me so far (penultimate one is someone from Braunschweig who made Bifteki from pork with the taste of a ready-made meatball, but at least you felt well served) Arrogance is a bad advisor. Take your customers seriously, don't talk your way out, show service and then you can manage another 30 years. But without a little humility it won't work. Oh yes, I find the price for this portion very sporty.

I visited this nice easy place based on others feedback here, and it was correct. I found the food great and fresh. Prices are reasonable too. The only issue is the language lack as it seems as a family business.
